Antonello is a young monk recruited by Giuliano Della Rovere to become the Pope's taster and poison him.

Season two[]
Giuliano Della Rovere's plan of deposing the Pope is taken one step further when he recruits Antonello to become the Pope's taster and eventually poison him. Antonello had several potions of cantarella to strengthen his reaction. Della Rovere sends Antonello to Rome who in turn drowns Brother Bernardino, who was the Pope's taster, in order to replace him. Upon the baptism of Giovanni Borgia, the grandson of the Pope, Antonello poisons the Pope's water, but he chose to have wine instead. Antonello finally succeeds in his mission when he eventually poisons the Pope's wine.

Antonello is confirmed dead as his corpse his shown.
